I have to be honest when I say that I was almost positive ABE would kick Giel to the curb after his poor 1980 season. When Giel came back for 1981 I decided about 40 games in to play him every day to see how close he could get, Giel responded with a great year in 1981 but we won the World Series so I thought, "Well that's it he's gone". Much to my delight he came back and has now reached a milestone none of my previous SIM players have ever achieved.
If we had a Long Term Beta Hall of Fame the current roster of the Devastation would have 3 mortal locks in Giel, [url=http://beta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?player=nobody&mode=stats&id=5071]Trlicek[/url] and [url=http://beta.simdynasty.com/player.jsp?player=nobody&mode=stats&id=5371]Koster[/url].
