I want a recount of the AL ROY award

It appears that Jake Lee, came outta nowhere and won the AL ROY award... even without taking one single AB in the AL this season.

COME ON ABE... you're killing me with this....

Sorry about that folks. Getting Lee the AL ROY was not the intent here. I did not even think about it at all. The driving force was the bumper crop of rookies comin up in Houston for next season and the need to pair some mentors with them.

It's really no problem ( and I don't really care) .... I just think it's interesting that ABE can't see that the guy didn't play in the AL at all.

Taking a harder look at Jack Lee finds that he did indeed have a nice rookie season. Lee finished the season at Houston with a .270 batting average stroked 21 HRs and drove in 84 runs. He also won a Gold Glove for stellar defensive work in RF for the Colt 45's. Lee played 121 games in RF and did not commit an error. He had 2 assists and a +1 with a 1.82 RF. The end of the season trade earned him the AL ROY award which clearly was not deserved.

Lee was up against some tough competition in the NL for the ROY. Both Medina of the Cubs and Clyde from St. Louis were former #1 OA picks and the Cardinals Morozumi was a #2 OA pick. Lee was a 2nd round pick going #23 OA

Well Garfield who played in the AL all season certainly deserved it but what can you say ... it is just SD and the JFL.
