So, we drafted teenagers. We added 3, a pitcher and 2 OF's, who should be helpers in 3-4 seasons. We traded for a couple of old pros, a hitter and a RP, to help whatever it is we have. Our plan is to throw youngsters out there no matter how bad they are (we don't have much choice) with 1 vet and hope for the best, adding a decent draftee for each of the next 3-4 seasons.
I'm not calling our strategy Youth Tanking because to me that implies having some talent to develop. We don't have that yet. Desperation Tanking is the term I'll use.
